Albany Convoy Commemorative Event
A series of commemorative events will take place in Albany from the 31 October to 2 November 2014 to mark the 100th anniversary of the departure of the first convoy and the significant role Albany has played in Australia’s history.
Throughout the weekend there will be a troop march, mess hall on Stirling Terrace, Symbolic Departure of Naval Ships, opening of the National Anzac Centre, community concert together with much more.
